I’m a pastor, a writer, a spiritual director, and sought-after speaker.
I’m driven by a desire to explore the stories people tell about themselves and others. In my work as a theater artist and as the founder of Cry Havoc Theater Company (2014-2023), I traveled across the country to collect interviews on guns in America and to the Southern border to interview people on all sides of the immigration conversation.
These days, I’m pastoring as the Justice & Advocacy Fellow at Royal Lane Baptist Church and writing about the intersection of religion and politics for Baptist News Global.
